Today’s tip is one that has already helped a lot of users, and I hope it helps others here too
Want to show off your data to the public? Maybe it is just a demo of your new product, you don’t always want to force users to have to create an account, right?
Meet the Anonymous User. This feature lets you generate a Public Link for your dashboard. Anyone with the link can view the dashboard and its data instantly. No login required!!
Buuut… public doesn’t mean “unsecured.”
Create the User: Go to Users > New User > Enable the option “Create as anonymous user”. (To make it easier, I suggest naming this user as Anonymous).
Set the Policy: Go to Access Management and click + New Policy. In the Targets section, set the Type to Run User, the field to ID, and select your Anonymous User. Then under Permissions, click + New Permission and grant Allow access to the Dashboard (and Device, if the dashboard uses device data). This defines exactly what the Anonymous user can see, keeping everything else locked down.
This way you can quickly share your solution with anyone, securely!

Where is TagoRUN>UserManagement? What product are you describing? Carolina, I was disappointed very much after our chat session in which you sent me to this Community page you wrote, when I discovered that there is no User Management page. The only thing that exists is Users in admin.tago.io. Once you create an anonymous user, the only way to know which one is anonymous is to look at the crazy email address associated with it. The only way to use it is to go to the dashboard and Share Public. But that is not in your (therefore useless) tip. The only thing I can think of is that you and I have been working with different products. This is really crazy. Also, another issue is that when one finally figures out how to use this, it displays okay on a laptop but on an iPhone it doesn’t display properly until you tap the right side of the screen a bunch of times. If you are lucky.
You’re right, the steps in the tip could have been clearer. The product I was describing is the same one you’re using in admin.tago.io. In the original post I linked the documentation on the Anonymous User, which explains how to create one. But I’ve noted your feedback and will edit the tip to make it more detailed.
To help you identify the Anonymous user easily, I’d suggest naming it “Anonymous” when you create it. That way you can spot it right away in your Users list without having to rely on the email address.
About the dashboard display issue on iPhone, could you send a screenshot of that through our support channel at support@tago.io? That way I can make sure it gets to the right team to evaluate.

At the moment, I cannot replicate the iPhone display problem. It has a life of its own, that problem. Wait, it appeared like the screen appears when one hits the Menu button at the bottom. I see that when I do hit the Menu button --oh no, this is strange–when I hit the Menu button, sometimes I can restore the screen by tapping on the right half (the non-sidebar half). Other times, when I click that, it goes back to Home selected and says “Nothing to show yet No sidebar buttons or dashboards have been shared with your account. Contact your administrator to request access.” In that case, I have to hit left arrow on the bottom (when using Chrome browser on iPhone). Then the dashboard shows up and if I click Menu I can see the dashboard hidden behind the gray right side. Again I can click the right side to see the dashboard. But if I click Home, I get the Nothing to show yet message, and then if I click Menu, the dashboard is no longer hidden below the gray right side; and then once again only the left arrow will bring up the dashboard.
