Hi y’all, Carolina from the Support team here again ![]()
Here’s another quick tip based on a common question we get at TagoIO. This week, a customer reached out asking why the timezone shown on their dashboard didn’t match the timezone in the data they downloaded from the device bucket. Since this can confuse other users as well, I thought I’d share the explanation with you too.
A quick reminder: Data sent from the IoT device is always stored using timestamp in UTC.
When viewing data in your TagoIO Admin Console, timestamps automatically convert to your account’s configured timezone. You can modify your account timezone settings at any time here. If you’re viewing dashboards within TagoRUN, you’ll need to adjust the timezone settings for the end user instead:
Has this information helped you? Have any questions or concerns about this? Share with me, I will be more than happy to help you!
Cheers,
