I consider it urgent to make two changes to the map widget.
1. Update the map, in my particular case my client needs to visualize the updated map, ideally for the year, since he needs to see his fruit fields.
2. It has happened to me on several occasions that it is difficult to locate the sensor because I can not see my current location to have a reference on the map.
I would appreciate if anyone can give me any recommendations on how to get this functionality through a custom widget or if it is possible that the Tago team can help me.
Regarding your first point, if you’re looking to update the map’s satellite view to reflect the most recent recordings, you might need to integrate a third-party map through a custom widget, using service like Google Maps or any other that offers up-to-date satellite view.
As for your second point, TagoIO currently does not support capturing real-time user location due to past issues with platform policies, particularly concerning Apple’s regulations. However, you can enhance your map widget by incorporating a feature that allows users to manually input their location or use a location service API to suggest their approximate area without directly capturing their real-time position.
