I remember to experience same problem on my side.
It was related to having settings files already created for old versions of the TagoCore. I don’t remember at this point how to fix it, and someone else from the TagoCore team should give better instructions soon. But you can try deleting the old settings and see if that fixes the problem.
In any case, would be good if you can open your terminal and start the TagoCore from there. You should then see the error messages, which you can copy and paste here. Then we can make sure if this is a problem related to old version or not.
Hello SES-Ingenieure GmbH,
Also keep in mind that all TagoCore versions above 0.3.2 have a built-in CLI, which means double-clicking to run the TagoCore executable/binary will no longer work, you have to run the application via terminal.
Try and follow these steps to see if TagoCore runs normally:
1. Open a terminal in the folder where TagoCore is located
2. Run the command tagocore start --no-daemon
If running the application via the terminal still crashes it, feel free to reply to this post and we’ll fix whatever issue you’re having!
All the best,
Matt.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Deleting the old settings before starting via the Terminal worked for me.
No crash on Startup anymore.
