Re-configuration of the TagoRun app required

I wish everyone a Happy New Year 2025.

All of our users had the problem that I had to repeat the app setup after the app had been working fine on the phone for weeks.

This means that the domain, user and password had to be entered again. Why?

I’m a front end developer here at TagoIO, and I’d be glad to help out.

The credentials may expire and prompt the users to sign in again, but it’s strange that the domain was unset.

I have a couple of questions:

  1. Were your users using the app before it happened, i.e. a couple of days before?
  2. Did this happen for everyone in the same day?
  3. Did any of your users mentioned an error message popping up?

Any other details you can provide may help us pinpoint and address it.

Regarding your report, our team investigated it and indeed found an issue. We will be working on fixing this behavior, and it is expected to be in production in the upcoming weeks. I just sent you an email to keep you updated on this.

For now, I suggest you try changing the session time in your Admin > Run > Security and Protection. Make sure the period there is the one you need.

I’d like to give an update about this issue.

It was resolved some weeks ago! Now the time set for the user’s sessions works as set in the Admin.

The 3 months are over for some users and the problem is back. Why isn’t there the option under RUN-Security and Protection-
“Session expires in” =NEVER

Thank you for you input on this! Currently we set the maximum period for 3 months as a way to avoid the possibility of forgetting the account logged and data being exposed or breached.

I understand you prefer to set this to a higher period. I’ll make sure to escalate to team!

For now, we don’t have an ETA for expanding this configuration.

For one of our product clients check tago application 1-3 times per month. After 3 month most of them they call us asking what happened and suprised they been logout…any chance to change it please ?
