Public Dashboard

Guys, at one time, I could compile a dashboard and simply share an address.

This simple feature now seems to be complicated somewhat by RUN.

Are there any simple straight forward guides without having to read a load of info that doesn’t apply to my use.

I’m looking for simple, I don’t need custom flash domains, just a one click option to share an address like before.

Hi Martin,

Unfortunately we had to remove this option due to some conflicts with the process, but the option for RUN gives more flexibility, and the good news is that you can have it again with One click as before for each dashboards if you do the setup below.

Once you follow these 2 steps, the last one is basically like you had before (a public link in each dashboard) but including your url and logo.

1. Create a User that will be used in all access, in this case it will be an Anonymous user. See image.

2. Add a Policy to enable any anonymous user to access all your dashboards.

3. The steps above you need to do just 1 time for all future sharing. Now, you should be able to see the Public link in all your dashboards.

Again, by following these steps, you will have the same outcome of the previous Public sharing on Admin, but with your link. You can narrow down the User Access policy to split in different access by creating different Anonymous Users, but I don’t think you need now.

I hope it helps.

Hi, thank you and sorry for the very late response.

Still didn’t get this working, I’ve tried a few times over the last few months and have almost given up!

Strange, let us check if there is any activation needed in your account for the RUN. These steps should work for you.

Hi Martin, for some reason your RUN was disabled and it was not even showing the button to enable it.

We fixed it and it should be working now. Can you try again?

Sorry for this :-/

Hi Fabio. It is now working. Thanks for looking into this and fixing the issue. I thought it was me going wrong somewhere. So pleased its now working, Have a good week, thanks.
