We’re excited to announce that the Profile Backup feature is now accessible directly from the TagoIO Admin interface. Previously available only through the CLI, you can now create, manage, and download full snapshots of your profile, all from your browser!!

What’s included in a backup:

  • Dashboards, Analysis scripts, Devices, Actions, and all resource configurations

  • Uploaded files and documents

  • Version history

  • Profile secrets, team members, and TagoRUN settings

What’s new:

  • Create and download backups directly from the UI, go to your Profile > Backups

  • Automate backups using TagoIO Actions with the profile_backup action type and schedule triggers

  • Restore via CLI (tagoio backup restore) or programmatically via API

Good to know:

  • Available for Starter and Scale plans

  • Backups are retained for 12 months

  • Daily limit: 1 backups per account

  • Device data and Entities data are not included
