Hey y’all! Carolina from support here ![]()
I wanted to share a quick tip that came up in a recent support conversation, as it might be useful for those of you working with large datasets.
We had a user who needed to generate a single Excel file containing data from hundreds of devices, in his case resulting in a file of approximately 20 MB. They mentioned a concern about a 5 MB file size limit, likely due to email attachment restrictions.
Here’s the clarification:
There is no hard limit on file size when generating data through an Analysis in TagoIO.
If you run into limitations when trying to send that file via email (since email services often cap attachment sizes), a great workaround is to:
-
Store the generated file in TagoIO Files
-
Send a download link via email instead of attaching the file directly
This way, you can easily handle larger files like the 20 MB dataset mentioned without any issues.
Hope this helps someone out there working with bigger exports! Let me know if you have any questions!!
Cheers,
