Minimum value Y axis auto-scale not working

Hi

we are recently finding that setting ‘Dynamic’ scaling option for the Y-axis only works for the upper limit and set the minimum to zero. Is there any fix for this?

Hi Michael,

How strange its working as expected here in my test example:

Could you send a screenshot of yours?

Thanks Freddy

here is a screenshot from one of our widgets. We have ‘dynamic’ checked, but the lower limit seems set on zero

Same here. Still no reaction from tago?

Hi Freddy,

I think you didn’t quite get what the problem is. In your line chart you
have two values one above and the other below zero. Auto scale works on
this.

But as soon as you have only values above zero this doesn’t work anymore since minimum is fixed to 0.

This
might be ok vor many applications, but for values far away form 0 or
pretty close to each other you want to see some up and downs and not
just a line. See below.

Can you reproduce the auto scale issue with values above 0 only?

Funny thing. It worked before, but there was some kind of update which caused this issue.

Cheers

Hello everyone,

Our team will be investigating the dynamic scaling feature for the line graph, we will come back with additional information as soon as possible.

At the moment, its possible to apply a dynamic scaling by zooming in the entire graph, it will apply the dynamic scaling but will need to be done manually by the user every time the dashboard is opened.

Its also possible to manually set a fixed scale in the meantime.

Hi, we are facing the same issues and it makes the variations of the chart almost invisible to the user (values are around 100k). Any progress on this one since 2023 ?
