The field auto fits the whole widget available space, if you increase the width of your widget you are going to notice the difference, so you can not change a single field width or height.
In your field settings, there is an option called “Default value”, change it from “Last” to “Fixed”, and it will solve your problem. The option “Clear all fields” means after you clicked to submit this form, the field will be cleared.
