Here we go with a quick tip… did you know you don’t need to clone your dashboards for every language? TagoIO Dictionaries allow you to translate your entire application dynamically. You can display “Temperature” for English users and “Temperatura” for Spanish users, all on the same dashboard.
The Magic Tag: Instead of typing static text, use a dictionary tag like #TITLE.KEY# (Note that in this example the slug has 5 characters, which is the maximum allowed, and it’s all in uppercase).TagoRUN automatically swaps this tag for the correct word based on the logged-in user’s language preference.
Another useful info: It’s not just for translation! You can use Dictionaries to customize terminology for different clients (e.g., Client A calls them “Trucks,” Client B calls them “Lorries”) without changing your code.
