Downsampling in graphs

It seems that from a while there’s no downsampling option in graph widgets, perhaps the option was moved somewhere else or what?

Currently I have no way of seeing lots of data points without exporting the data to excel.

There it was a downsampling for perfomance options in the past: https://help.tago.io/portal/en/kb/articles/507-line-chart-widget#4_Increasing_performance

I have the same problem, where has downsampling moved to? Displaying a line chart for a week let alone a month is excessively slow due to a large number of data points (60 per hour) . Any tips to reduce display time will be much appreciated.

Hi Gerhard, I’m the OP.

Well, at the moment of posting the downsampling option was totally gone. But since then we got some Data Analytics parameters Data Analytics | TagoIO Docs.

It’s not exactly the same, but it can behave like the old option. You can for example make an aggregate every day for a large groups of devices and it can work.

Thanks Ignacio, your feedback and tip re Data Analytics is much appreciated
