Hi everybody,

We’d like to share the new features and improvements in TagoDeploy, built to give your management more clarity and control. Check them below:

MONITORING

Monitoring is a new app inside TagoDeploy. Every 5 minutes, it checks your metrics against thresholds you set. Cross one, and it emails your team, texts them, or triggers an automated response.

Monitoring covers the main database, the API, the in-memory database, and every installed app, such as the MQTT broker, network integrations, and custom apps. It also tracks monthly spending against a budget you set.

ALSO NEW IN TAGODEPLOY

  • Weekly report: All project owners now get a short email each week on how their infrastructure behaved the previous week. Ideal to know how your platform is doing without opening the console.

  • Alert emails that follow your company’s rules. Monitoring sends email through your own mail server using SMTP, so alerts stay under your email policies. There is no extra email service to sign up for.

  • Find out why a device’s data is not arriving. Each middleware, such as The Things Network, ChirpStack, or Sigfox, has a Logs page in the TagoDeploy console. Errors stand out in red, so you spot the problem quickly without opening a support ticket. Download the logs to share them with your team.

  • Costs your finance team can see as they are. Export the month’s bill to a spreadsheet from the Bills page, for the whole project or a single app. Finance loads it into Excel or Google Sheets without retyping, and the total matches the invoice. Partners can see what each app costs and bill their own end customers for it.

  • Know right away if a change caused a spike. Every settings change you apply is marked on your performance charts. When a chart jumps, you can see whether a recent change is the cause, and one click lists exactly what changed. A red band means the change failed.

  • See your platform grow with demand. A new chart shows how many servers were running at each moment. You can see TagoDeploy adding servers for a peak and removing them after, which also explains changes on your monthly bill.
