Grouping dashboards using tags

In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how you can group dashboards using tags, so it will be displayed like folders.

Tags are a way to organize your dashboards, they appear as custom columns in the dashboard list.

You need to click at edit mode (pencil) of your dashboard > edit dashboard.

Then go to the Tags tab and fill the key and value fields as you can see on the image below:

TIP: Field key is the tag’s unique name, and it serves to identify the tag. The system will use it to create the group.

Field value: It’s the text that will be displayed when you use the sidebar grouping, it is the value of the tag.

You will need to set up the Group dashboards using tag fields, and in order to do so, you need to select the tag key that will be used for the first level from the dashboard list.

In the example below, my tag key is test and its value is Project A.1, it is the first level of the dashboards list:
